OPEN DOORS: spring 23 edition
Twice a year, interested people have the opportunity to experience at first hand where and how our wooden modular houses are built. Last Friday it was that time again.
At the OPEN DOORS, our guests gain insights into our construction methods and can discuss all their questions directly with our planners. They visit houses in different construction phases and explore the production halls of our partner Mitos and the joinery during the factory tours with our execution planners Gerald Brencic, Volker Ast and Ingmar Zwirn. For the first time, an online tour with Gamze Olcay (design and submission planning) and Ingmar Zwirn was also part of the programme for our international guests.
COMMOD houses to be visited
Project FTS – 154 m² gross floor area shortly before delivery
COMMOD FTS with its 154 m² was almost ready for loading. Time and again, customers are surprised to find that their houses can be delivered complete with bathroom fittings. Yes, that is possible. By the way, COMMOD FTS was sucessfully installed 3 days after the OPEN DOORS. We are happy to welcome a happy new COMMOD family in Carinthia.
Project SHK – 141 m² gross floor area, two-storey, ready-packed
COMMOD SHK is a two-storey house with a gross floor area of 141 m² built into a slope. The upper floor impresses with a charming terrace that can be accessed from two rooms and lets a lot of light into the upper floor. The house is already packed and waiting to be put up, which is on the agenda soon.
Project KSD – 2 houses with 25 m² and 42 m² respectively.
The two smaller houses will be equipped with kitchen and bedroom furniture from COMMOD.
The joinery: wood, wood and still more wood
Here you can smell the freshly cut wood, watch how windows and doors are made by hand, and the leftover sawdust is used to form pellets that heat the production hall. If you’re lucky, you’ll meet carpenter Stanko making individual kitchens or bedroom furniture.
Logistics Corner: Brandl Transporte
Herbert Brandl and his colleague Moritz from the company Brandl Logistik were on site as competent contact persons for all questions concerning transport.
Flash Talks: the fastest way to a building project
While most of the visitors were touring the houses, the Flash Talks with our managing director Michaela Maresch and our submission planner Uwe Lackner were taking place in the Mitos office. With the specific preliminary information about your project, we can check the delivery conditions with our transport partner Brandl and are able to make very specific statements about your desired building project in the short 10 minutes.
Following this, we recommend deepening the discussions in the course of an IPB package. We are pleased that once again numerous customers took advantage of our -20% offer for OPEN DOORS visitors.
