What are the OPEN DOORS all about? It’s simple: you have the opportunity to see COMMOD houses in different construction phases and individual cubatures. You can enter the houses, touch the materials and meet the team behind the plans and houses. This makes it much easier to imagine what makes a wooden modular house from COMMOD so special.
How does the event work?
After a short welcome and information from our managing director Michaela Maresch and the managing director of our production partner Mitos Matej Makoter, our planners will guide you through the houses in small groups. You will receive general information on the construction method as well as specific information on the projects presented. These houses can be visited:
Project 1 “GWW”: 3 modules, flat roof, approx. 131m² gross floor area (ready for delivery).
Project 2 “SHK”: 4 modules, flat roof, approx. 141m² gross floor area (in construction)
Project 3 “FBN”: 1 module, flat roof, approx. 46m² gross floor area (shell)

Our factory is located near Maribor (Slovenia). You will receive the address and directions in our confirmation email.
Flash Talks
We will again be allocating six 10-minute slots for free advisory talks directly within the OPEN DOORS.
After the Flash Talks proved to be a real highlight at our last event, there is once again the opportunity to register for one of our exclusive and free Flash Talk slots!
Prerequisite: building plot available, intention to build in 2023.
If you are interested, in addition to registering online via Eventbrite, please also send us the completed Flash Talk form by e-mail pr@commod-house.com by 3.11.2022 at the latest. This will give us a little more time to examine your building project in advance and to provide you with essential information and individual proposals tailored to your needs during the event.
