The extraordinary project “Alps-Diamond” by COMMOD <\/strong>took our team to a team building in the Tyrolean Alps. The best hiking weather awaited us as a reward after a slightly rainy assembling day and the Zillertal showed itself from its most beautiful side.
\nThe “Alps-Diamond” has an unprecedented geometric shape of a diagonal gable roof, which, from the side view, changes into pent roofs that are mirrored to one another. During the tour around the house, an apparently moving picture of an artificially created mountain landscape emerges, harmoniously and discreetly adapted to the traditional surroundings in a modern interpretation. The materials change as in the surrounding landscape – from earth to wood, which symbolically represents the tree belt of the mountain world, to the rugged cliffs on the peaks, represented by weather-resistant anthracite-colored shingle cladding on the facade and roof.
\nThe few available square meters of building area of \u200b\u200bonly 40m\u00b2 projected area were used on two floors and down to the smallest cut corners with made-to-measure furniture, from the black kitchen with visible multilayer wood edges to the solid-colored MDF panels as fronts with a milled Alpine silhouette over the matching the trapezoidal windows on the upper floor designed benches in oak \/ white to the spruce white oiled cladding of the loft floor, which can only be separated with sliding elements, everything in this work of art comes from a single source. Design and execution by COMMOD\u00ae.
\nThe proud building owner also “branded” her diamond herself and thus dignified a beautiful, shared and appreciative process.<\/p>\n
